Permits – Clymer Borough

Building Permit

Building Permits are required for repair, replacement, or installation on the exterior of your property when cost of the project exceeds $500. The cost of the building permit is $20.00 and can be obtained at the borough office.

Driveway Permit

Driveway location is to be approved by the Clymer Code Enforcement officer and is to be borough grade including construction and storm water management plan. The cost for a Driveway permit is $20.00 and can be obtained at the borough office.

Yard Sale Permit

Yard sale permits must be obtained to have a sale of house hold goods anytime of the year with the exception of community yard sale days. The cost of the permit is $5.00 and can be obtained at the borough office.

Burn Permit

Burn permits must be obtained to do any burning, with the exception of a camp fire. Only dry wood and brush is to be burnt with the permission of a burn permit. You are not permitted to burn anything that would give off a toxic smoke: shingles, tar paper, railroad ties, plastics, tires, etc. The Clymer Borough Council has the right to withdraw the permit and have the fire extinguished at any time if they feel that there are any violations. The cost of a burn permit is $20.00 and can be obtained at the borough office.
